Three reasons why Dr. Henninger provides Invisalign at Singing River Dentistry in Madison
Posted on 8/13/2021 by Dr. Andrew Henninger
Track record!
Invisalign has been around since the late 90s and has helped transform over 10 million smiles.
Today there are dozens of clear aligner therapy choices but they are not all created equally. The number one reason I choose to provide Invisalign is because, along with the proven track record comes consistency, support, and the comfort of knowing my patients at Singing River Dentistry in Madison, AL are getting the most advanced system available.
Comfort!
Two main benefits of clear aligners are that they can be removed while eating and they are clear. There are no food restrictions with clear aligners; simply take the aligners out and eat the food you enjoy. Also, there are no wires or metal brackets because the aligners are clear. Most people do not even notice you are wearing them. Invisalign goes a step further with its patented SmartTrack material which allows for more comfortable and predictable results.
Variety of treatable cases!
All these types of cases and more are treated everyday at Singing River Dentistry:
•
Gaps: Gaps in teeth or spacing is a common problem. If left untreated the spaces can attract food and bacteria which can cause decay, inflamed or bleeding gums, and even gum disease.
•
Crowded Smiles: Crowding can make it difficult to brush and floss leading to unnecessary buildup. This build up can cause decay and gum disease over time.
•
Crossbites: When top teeth are behind or inside bottom teeth. This can look similar to crowding, however, in this case there is enough room for the teeth
•
they are just not in good alignment. In this situation it is common for teeth to wear or chip and it can cause uneven gum recession.
•
Openbite: When your top and bottom front teeth do not touch when your mouth is closed. This can make it hard to eat foods like corn on the cob or tear into a sandwich.
