If you're not getting enough vitamins and minerals in your diet, it could lead to toothaches, cavities, or even gum disease. Are you giving yourself the best chance for a healthy mouth? If you want to ensure that you're getting enough Vitamin D through food sources like fish oils or fortified dairy products, you might want to talk to a doctor or dentist about taking a Vitamin D supplement.


Phosphorus is a mineral that enhances the strength of your teeth and helps fight off tooth decay. Dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese are good sources of phosphorus; if you're not eating enough dairy or are lactose intolerant, you might want to talk to your doctor about taking a phosphorus supplement.
